Last Christmas, Shepherd’s Star were delighted to partner with local schools, residents and businesses to raise funds for Christmas Boxes filled with the ingredients for a Christmas roast, pantry stores, sweet treats, Christmas crackers and a gift voucher for families in need around the Borough of Richmond. Each box was also given the personal touch of a beautiful card written by local school children.
In a real community effort, over £6000 was raised towards the project which culminated in over 70 boxes of Hope & Joy being delivered to families supported by Achieving for Children.

The amount of work, commitment and organisation that went into this wonderful initiative has really blown us away. We had a few who cried (tears of happiness- of course!) as they were so moved.
